Hel., Visual Identity

Our brief was to visualize hell and use hell as a starting point to create a concept and a visual identity.

We came up with the concept “Hel.” – the book publisher from hell. The concept takes inspiration from the Nordic mythology about Helheim.

The colors represents life & death, cold & water, while the typography is a flirt with the mythological and the book publishing aesthetics. What about the books? Of course they are really hard to read due to poor readability.
